If your paint looks dull in daylight and shows a spider’s web of fine swirls under the sun, a gloss enhancement is the fix — at a fraction of the cost of a full paint correction.
What’s included
The car gets a full safe wash and chemical decontamination first, because you should never machine polish over bonded dirt. Then the paintwork is machine polished in a single stage with a fine polish — enough to remove light swirl marks and oxidation, sharpen the reflections and bring back the deep, wet gloss the car had when it was new.
The fresh finish is then sealed with protection so it lasts, rather than swirling up again at the first bad wash.
Who it’s for
Cars with light swirl marks from automatic car washes or years of sponge washing. Daily drivers that deserve to look their best without the cost of multi-stage correction. It’s also the ideal preparation stage before a ceramic coating — and if you’re thinking of selling, few things lift a car’s perceived value like paint that actually shines.

What is gloss enhancement?
A single-stage machine polish that removes the lighter swirl marks and restores gloss, then seals the finish. It runs from £380 and takes one to two days at the unit in Whitburn.
How much of the damage does it remove?
Typically most of the light swirl marks and wash marring. Deeper scratches and heavier defects need multi-stage paint correction, which levels more of the clear coat.
Is gloss enhancement mobile?
No. Machine polishing is done at the unit in Whitburn, where the lighting and temperature are controlled. Polishing outdoors in poor light hides defects rather than removing them.
