Paint correction removes the damage. A ceramic coating stops it coming back. This service does both — and the order matters, because a coating locks in whatever finish is underneath it. Correct first, then coat.
What’s included
After a full wash and complete decontamination (iron fallout, tar, embedded grit), the paintwork is machine polished to remove swirl marks, light scratches, oxidation and etching. This is real correction — defects are removed, not filled and hidden.
The corrected paint is then prepped and a professional ceramic coating is applied. As a FEYNLAB certified detailer, I’m trained and approved to install FEYNLAB’s professional-grade coatings — chemistry you can’t buy off the shelf.
Why a ceramic coating
A cured ceramic coating chemically bonds to your paint and outlasts any wax by years, not months. Water beads off, road grime and winter salt struggle to stick, UV fading is slowed, and washing the car becomes dramatically easier — dirt releases with a snow foam and gentle wash instead of scrubbing. On Scottish roads, through Scottish winters, it’s the single best investment in keeping a car looking new.
Who it’s for
Newer cars you want to protect from day one. Cars whose paint has picked up swirls and needs a reset. Anyone tired of waxing every couple of months for protection that vanishes by the next season.
Takes approximately 2–3 days, carried out in the secure garage. Collection can be arranged. Serving West Lothian, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Falkirk and all of Central Scotland.
From £580. Message me on WhatsApp or call 07510 141510 — a couple of photos of your paint gets you an honest assessment of what your car needs.
